About us

We bought this land in 2015 and built our forever home. This has been something I’ve wanted since I was a little girl. As time went by and our home became real, we started our farm and named it “Stones Throw Farm”. This name was picked for a reason. When we decided to plant clover mix over the farm field, we had to pick up all the stones plowed up out of the ground to plant our grass. I think we spent a good three weeks throwing stones into a trailer pulled with our old tractor. It was a lot of work but so rewarding when the grass mix started to grow. Then came the chickens.
